C101 provides the tools and resources that patients and caregivers need to make sense of the overwhelming information and difficult emotions that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Designed a business card, info card, and post card for a launch of their new online planner.

Jones Lang Lasalle

Feb. 27 – 30 2012
Jones Lang Lasalle a well known financial services company, needed a layout artist and Indesign expert to work closely with their head graphic designer. I was brought on as a consultant to help streamline the work flow on the project, and check for quality control. The project consisted of an 800 page property portfolio with briefs on the surrounding areas, to allow potential clients to study Jones Lang Lasalle, holdings to either buy or lease in the prime real-estate markets. Properties in the catalog included but were not limited to Columbus Circle, Bryant Park, Time Square, and Rockefeller Center.

Pearson

Pearson is the world’s leading education company. The company reached out to me to design a series of book covers for their new Texas government course. Every student at Texas public institution of higher education needs to take this course audience profile general education. Instructors really dislike teaching this course. So my roll was to design a text book that had a sophisticated air to it’s cover design that was hip in order to create a more positive feeling about thier book.

Kaplan Testing

Produced e-mails for a variety of tests courses offered by Kaplan Testing. Typography and layout skills and understand line breaks and special placement was essential for HTML coder production. I was to flow in text and add graphics and links to banners, promos and e-blasts.

Save Kevin Cooper.org

Save Kevin Cooper (Get Involved!), an innocent man on death row, was denied by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on May 11th. His case will next go to the U.S. Supreme Court. We where asked to redesign the website and put forth any ideas that would draw awarness to the case of Kevin Cooper. The development of the logo is in progress. The concept for the logo is was to use a protest line to invoke thoughts of “the voice of the people” a slab type face connotes type writer or investigative news reporting.

 

 

J Walter Thompson (JWT)

Made a series of digital line drawings for a conceptual advertising campaign for a proposal meeting with Cleveland Clinic. The illustrations needed to have a loose and airy quality similar to Henri Matisse’s drawings. The illustrations where to be used in animated flash banners as well as flyers and other printed collateral.

Designed a series of black & white icons for an ethnic product line consisting of leave in conditioners & hair creams for wavy and curly hair. Worked closely with an art director, under extremely tight deadlines to insure the product line went out on time. Several revision where made to refine the feel and style of icons, thought client meeting.

Completed a series of icons in a 3D glossy style with reflection, for a pitch meeting with Comcast. The Icons where to be used on posters, signage, mailers, and other collateral materials. The client gaged the job at to weeks, it was completed in two days. The client was pleasantly surprised.

 

 

New York Cool

New York Cool (N.Y. From Every Perspective) approached us with quite a challenge: to redesign an identity for an extremity eclectic and off beat readership. They liked the existing identity, but didn’t feel that it spoke to all of their demographics, particularly the older crowd, so we designed the new brand to have an updated, fun-but-trustworthy look and feel. Designed the identity, business card, and currently working on the website and development of the HTML/CSS. Coordination of marketing materials for New York Cool online magazine is in progress.

Victoria Tolbert (Branding A Movement) The goal of this project was to create a visual presence for a personal trainer. Their intent is to spread awareness about their workout methods. The website for Victoria Tolbert was one of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on. I worked closely with a content strategist & photographer to find the best ways to solve all of the challenges presented by a fitness site. Designed the identity, business card, and currently working on the website and development of the HTML/CSS. is recognized as the nation’s premier hospitality company, based in New York City, it is the world’s leading foodservice organization. I worked with them on a number of project: one such project is this postcard. Responsible for information design, signage, displays, menu boarders, e-mail blasts, flyers, booklets, company identities, icon sets, posters, trade show banners, illustrations, color correcting, brochures, magazines advertisements, and company collateral.

Bavarian Windows & Doors

Bavarian (Where Design Meets Practicality) is a division of Builders Windows and Doors that specializes in European style windows. Bavarian caters to architects so concept for the brochure was to use schematic drawings that would allude to that. I chose a brownish-crimson color to connote a feeling of gracefulness or royalty. The purpose of this project was to elevate the level of sophistication for retailers in order to attract high end clients. Presented here are the magazine Ad, brochure, and postcard. Responsible for the CSS/HTML and the coordination of the marketing materials for this window retailer that specializes in high end European window styles. Designed the identity, business card, and website.

Builder Windows & Doors (Just Try and Do A Better Job) are a full service company which, in their field, is rare. They wanted their brand to reflect the durability of the doors that they manufacture, and the expertise of the individuals involved in the process. Ulric War Games & Sportswear

Ulric (Battle and Destruction, Winter, and Wolves) In Nordic mythology Ulric is worshipped as a god of battle and destruction, winter, and wolves, evoking a barbarian predatory god appropriate to the early, savage period. I felt it fitting when designing a logo for a war games park to draw upon my love of Nordic mythology. The logo was to be used in a clothing line as well as the emblem for the park team. Traditional mediums: indian ink, water color, and charcoal was used for the creation of this logo.

City Bagels Deli (The Tastes Of New York) approached us with quite a challenge: to design a light hearted brand that spoke of tradition and quality.
